South African Hockey is pleased to announce the SPAR South African Women’s Indoor Hockey team selected for the upcoming Namibia Series.
The 14-player squad combines significant international experience with an exciting group of players preparing to take their first steps onto the international stage.
Anja Tromp, Manisha Desai, Jodie Blows and Jehan Abrahams are set to make their international debuts for South Africa. Their selection reflects the growing depth within the women’s indoor programme and provides four exciting players with the opportunity to represent their country for the first time.
The newcomers will be supported by a strong and experienced core, with Tegan Fourie, Jamie Southgate and Edith Molikoe bringing valuable international experience and leadership to the group.
The Namibia Series will provide South Africa with an important opportunity to strengthen combinations, expose more players to international competition and continue developing the high-intensity style that has established the country as one of the leading nations in the international indoor game.
